DISH - weekend tapas brunch

I found this restaurant from bloggers and their pictures capture my eyes immediately. DISH is located at Dua Annexe, Jalan Tun Razak. The buffet starts from 12pm-3pm and the last call will be at 2.30pm every weekend. The price would be RM99++  per adult including juices, coffee and tea OR alcoholic brunch at RM179++ including Tiger beer, red, white, sparkling wines and juices. Kids from 6 - 12 years old will be charged at RM49++

What so special about the restaurant? First, it is not like the normal buffet which u can see the food prepared in trays - u'll order the food from a menu list. However, u can only repeat order for the same dish for three time. Second, all the food served here is in bite size portion and they have 35 items in the menu list. So, I decided to bring my boyfie to here because he likes eggs dishes and he can really eat quite a lot =P =P

TIPS - Bring more friends with u or someone who can really eat a lot so u can try everything out! =D =D

This is the menu list where u place ur order from here.

They serve really tasty bread here. Crispy bread skin while the bread itself is loose in structure - and it is warm when they are served. Personally I like this bread very much =D =D

Since we aim to try everything out in the menu, we start ordering from top to bottom. This is the Curried French Onion with Gruyere soup (left) and Pea soup with Mascarpone. The pea soup taste good =))

These are the dishes categories under 'Organic eggs', 'Croquettes' and 'Salads'.

I like the Dish Caesar (the left top) and Chopped Salad (the left bottom)!! My boyfie enjoyed the croquettes so much and he recommended u guys to choose the 'mix of all three', which is the combination of Turkey Ham and Mozzarella, Mushroom and rosemary, and Chicken and red pepper. However, I think the egg dishes are just normal.

These are the dishes under 'Fish' and 'Shellfish'. The pan-fired salmon (right top) is over-dried and tasteless. The Clams and Mussels with apple and chili padi (the front) is special, worth a try.

I love the all the foods under 'Pasta/Risotto', which are the Carborana, baked macaroni and tomato risotto. My boyfie found the the Black Angus beef burger is tasty and he ordered the same dish for twice! The burger is tiny and cute, and also well char-grilled, according to him.

Roasted Halibut with lemongrass sauce, Strip loin with sauce Charon, and Paprika chicken with sweet corn and mushrooms.

Since we still have 'space' in our stomach, we decided to order whatever that we have left out. The Lamb Kofta is good. But, honestly, both of us think that the carrot and cardamom with spiced jack fruit soup is really disgusting! Perhaps we don't like jack fruit.

The last round - Dessert!

Overall, I think DISH is a restaurant that worth trying. Some might find it good but others might not agree. For me, I expected too much from this restaurant (because of the reviews from internet) but ended up with slight disappointment. ^^
